Alberto Schiabel

Alberto Schiabel (@jkomyno) is a software engineer, consultant, and former startup co-founder. He is based in Europe, most often in Venice. With 8+ years of industry experience, he is currently innovating open-source and type-safe database tools at Prisma. With a diverse background in C++, Node.js, and Haskell, Alberto thrives at the intersection of Rust, WebAssembly, and TypeScript. He enjoys type-safe data sharing, petting cats and exploring new frontiers. He&rsquo;s also affiliated with the Czech Technical University in Prague.

Alice Ryhl

Alice is a core maintainer of the widely used Tokio library. For this reason she spends a lot of time spreading knowledge about how to use Rust. Whenever you search for questions related to Rust, there&rsquo;s undoubtedly a good chance that an answer by Alice shows up. She is part of the Android Rust team at Google where she helps with integrating Rust in the Android platform.

Andre Bogus

Andre Bogus is a German software engineer, a rust-clippy maintainer, This Week in Rust editor, the one and only Rust Bard and helps rustaceans wherever he can. Andre loves music and will usually have a Ukulele or other instrument at hand. His other hobbies include swimming, skateboarding, biking and caring for his wife, three kids and cat.

Aram Drevekenin

Open-source developer, working on transforming the experience of using a terminal.

Daniel Raniz Raneland

Raniz is a programmer, architect, speaker and coach at&nbsp;factor10, helping companies achieve software excellence with a business focus. Raniz is quick to adopt new technology. Everything from learning a new programming language to documentation of technicalities. He is prestigeless and likes to get into new domains. He loves to share knowledge and ideas, and interesting topics for conversation never end. Raniz helps maintain a high technical level, including Cloud and DevOps. Raniz has worked at factor10 since 2021, has previous experience as an architect at several companies, and is deeply skilled in Java. When he's not working, he's into beer brewing and triathlons.

Hayden Stainsby

Hayden is an engineering manager at HERE Technologies, focused on serving real-time traffic information to end users in great detail at low latency (sometimes even using Rust). He&rsquo;s a passionate Rust developer and is part of the tokio-rs maintainer team, mostly contributing to Tokio Console and Tracing.

Luca Palmieri

Luca Palmieri builds technology products for a living, and has been doing so for a while. His current focus is on backend development, software architecture and the Rust programming language.
He currently works at MainMatter as a Principal Engineering Consultant. He partners with teams across the industry to make sure they succeed in adopting or scaling their Rust usage, where it makes sense to do so. He was formerly at AWS and TrueLayer.
He has been part of the Rust community since 2018 and is best known as the author of &ldquo;Zero to Production in Rust&rdquo;, an introduction to using Rust for backend development.
When he is not coding, you&rsquo;ll find him baking cakes or rolling pasta sheets.

Marco Ieni

I&rsquo;m a computer engineer interested in the tech stack from microcontrollers to cloud microservices. I&rsquo;m simplifying maintaining Rust projects by building&nbsp;<a href="https://github.com/MarcoIeni/release-plz">release-plz.</a>

Mario Vigliar

Mario Vigliar was born in Nocera Inferiore, Italy, in 1980. He received his M.Sc. And his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Salerno, Italy. He was involved in the study and development of heterogeneous multi-core and multi-processing imaging systems since 2007. Since then he has become Chief Scientist of Spark/TTM, still holding the position of CTO of his own company DPControl in Italy. He holds 2 international patents on innovative architectures for Visual Search, licensed by STMicroelectronics NV, several publications about video processing, image compression and linear algebra computing systems in FPGA and ASIC. He leads a R&amp;D team of 15 persons all involved in developing modern systems for efficient image, video and AI processing.

Massimiliano Mantione

I am a software engineer, mostly interested in programming languages and compilers. After working on JIT compilers, game technologies, virtual reality on the web, and blockchains, I am now using Rust full-time to solve logistical vehicle routing problems at scale.

Pierre Avital

Pierre Avital, PhD, is a core contributor to Eclipse Zenoh, a networking middleware that turns your distributed systems into a single high-throughput event bus (and RPC framework), from a microcontroller with a single BLE interface to the cloud. After using Rust professionally since 1.28 (in the olden times before async/await), he's decided to make dynamic linkage more friendly for Rustaceans. He likes dogs, video games, and tricking compilers into doing more work at compile time than they ever wanted to.

Pietro Lorefice

Embedded software developer with a soft spot for bare metal and OS programming, firmware development and real-time systems, and a lifelong interest in electronics and FPGA design.

Raph Levien is a research software engineer on the Google Fonts team, primarily working on GPU font rendering. He&rsquo;s been actively involved in the Rust community for over seven years, and has worked on pulldown-cmark, the Druid UI toolkit, and other popular crates. He has a PhD from UC Berkeley on the topic of interactive curve editing, and has been involved in font creation and 2D graphics tools most of his career.
