Amos Wenger

Amos (better known as @fasterthanlime) makes articles and videos about Rust and how computers work. They co-host the <a href="https://sdr-podcast.com/">Self-Directed </a><a href="https://sdr-podcast.com/">Research</a> Podcast with <a href="https://rustlab.it/speakers/munns" target="_blank" rel="noopener">James Munns</a>.

Bernice Waweru

I am a software engineer focused on high-performance systems and machine learning infrastructure. My work explores building scalable pipelines for audio processing, embedding systems, and similarity search.&nbsp; I have experience developing developer tools and I am particularly interested in using Rust to build fast, reliable systems for data-intensive applications.

Dylan Martin

Federico Bassini

Born in 1992, passionate about technology since childhood. I discovered programming in high school and immediately fell in love with it: today I am both IT teacher and developer, driven by an inexhaustible curiosity. In the last few years, I have approached the Rust world and TUIs, rediscovering a creative and almost "artistic" approach to programming.

Frank Lyaruu

Architect and software generalist. Rustacean. Java veteran. Sustainable computing advocate. Web assembly enthousiast.&nbsp; Occasional Embedded Rust streamer.

Guillaume Binet

Guillaume Binet, Founder of Copper Robotics, brings 25 years of tech experience, with 10 years focused on robotics. Before founding Copper Robotics, he was the CTO at Skyways (drones), VP of CORE Platforms at Motional (autonomous driving), and VP of Onboard Infrastructure at Argo AI (autonomous driving). When Guillaume is not working heads down on his startup, he likes to restore old electronics (family computers and pinballs), scuba dive and race cars.

Iván Ovejero

Iv&aacute;n Ovejero is a software engineer and open-source developer interested in type systems, compilers, and developer tooling.&nbsp; He works on n8n's core team and is the author of Lisette, a language inspired by Rust that compiles to Go.

Jesús Pérez

38 years working with computers, 12 years focused on containers and infrastructure automation. I'm a Rust Developer and Cloud Architect, building Provisioning, an open-source infrastructure automation platform. Convinced that type safety and Rust's design principles transform how we approach infrastructure code, among many other things. Also responsible for the Rust-laspalmas.dev community.

Jorge D. Ortiz Fuentes

Jorge is a Rust developer. His knowledge and expertise in software development include AI, microservices, mobile development, systems architecture, and security. As a developer, he began working at M.I.T. in 1993 and has collaborated on many software projects since. He wrote software for several internal HP projects, where he worked for over 15 years. Then, he transitioned into mobile development and later into writing microservices. He participated as an instructor in some of the best software development bootcamps in the U.S.A. and Europe. He occasionally delivers microservices and mobile development courses, training individuals and the teams of some of the biggest companies worldwide. Outside work, he is the proud dad of three wonderful women and a total keeb-junkie.

Kostas Passadis

I am a Section Leader in Data Analytics at the National Control Center of the Greek Electrical Grid Operator. With a background in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a PhD in Electromagnetism, I have over 20 years of experience developing software, with a focus on data analysis, machine learning, and optimization. I am particularly interested in building robust, composable systems and regularly use Scala in both professional and personal projects. In parallel, I have collaborated for more than a decade as a senior technical reviewer and editor with Manning Publications, primarily on books covering machine learning, deep learning, and functional programming. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and staying active.

Lora Vega Vega

I&rsquo;m Lora. I build tools that live in other people&rsquo;s memory space. I&rsquo;m a Linux security researcher and the developer of Aether, a 32/64-bit process injection framework. My recent work involves weaponizing Rust&rsquo;s safety features to create more stable and undetectable C++ hybrids. I&rsquo;m here to show you how process injection is evolving on Linux and why the future of offensive tooling is polyglot.

Ludwig Weinzierl

I've been writing Rust since 2015 and co-organize the Rust Munich Meetup. By day I work in application security in Munich. Earlier stops include fifteen years in automotive and six years in aerospace. I hold degrees in Engineering Physics and Applied Computer Science from Munich universities. Outside of work I'm into embedded systems (a lasting side effect of my automotive years), retro computing, and game development with Bevy. I occasionally give talks and workshops at meetups and community events around Augsburg and Munich.

Marcel Koch

Marcel is an independent software architect and consultant focused on building long-lived, maintainable systems. He works with companies in industrial and technical domains to develop cross-platform applications for mobile, desktop, embedded, and web. His work centers around a stable domain core that separates business logic from infrastructure, enabling systems to evolve over many years. He regularly supports teams in modernizing existing systems and introducing sustainable architectures. Marcel is co-author of the Rust book published by dpunkt Verlag. He uses Rust to build robust and reliable software across platforms, coaches in Non-Violent Communication and teaches Rust and software architecture in hands-on trainings.

Massimiliano Mantione

I am a software engineer, mostly interested in programming languages and compilers. I have worked on implementing telecom switching stations, the Mono JIT compiler, the Unity3D game engine, the V8 Javascript VM at Google, a collaborative virtual reality system on the web, and blockchains. Currently, I am working on operational research applied to logistics at scale in WorkWave and using Rust full-time to solve logistical vehicle routing problems at scale.

Michael Kefeder

Michael Kefeder is Backend Team Lead at Threema, where his team builds robust services at scale. Using Rust professionally since 2019, Michael is passionate about mentoring junior developers and showing the advantages of Rusts type- and eco-system.&nbsp; He has co-organised RustFest Z&uuml;rich 2024 and previously spoken at many Rust meet-ups all over Switzerland and Austria. In his spare time, he enjoys the mountains, dances of the swing-era and cooking.

Michael Winkelmann

<address class="force-wrap">Michael Winkelmann is an independent software engineer and and developer of &micro;cad, a domain-specific language for geometries. He is a Rust language enthusiast driving Rust adoption in academia and open-source to empower the next generation of developers.</address>

Michele Mantione

Michel Krämer

I'm a researcher working at Fraunhofer IGD and a lecturer at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. I have a PhD in Computer Science. My research interests are in processing of big geospatial data, workflow management, and distributed systems. In my spare time, I&rsquo;m a passionate musician and photographer. I also work on several open-source projects and contribute to popular frameworks and libraries.

Rafael Bachmann

I'm a Rust coder based in Germany. Grew up in Greece, tried to become a musician, didn't, started coding. Tried to become a C/C++ embedded developer, didn't, learned Rust.&nbsp; The rest is my career.

William Takeshi Pereira

A software engineer with 10 years of experience in backend development. I am particularly interested in bridging the gap between software written in the industry with formal verification that you usually only see in the academy.
