Michael Kefeder is Backend Team Lead at Threema, where his team builds robust services at scale. Using Rust professionally since 2019, Michael is passionate about mentoring junior developers and showing the advantages of Rusts type- and eco-system.
He has co-organised RustFest Zürich 2024 and previously spoken at many Rust meet-ups all over Switzerland and Austria. In his spare time, he enjoys the mountains, dances of the swing-era and cooking.
