Jonathan Turner has worked in open source for more than 20 years, from small projects to large ones, including helping Microsoft transition to open source. He was part of the team that created TypeScript and helped it to grow as program manager and leader of the design team. He also worked on Rust both as a Rust community member and as part of the Mozilla Rust team, which included co-designing Rust’s error messages and IDE support.
